Format is that each speaker talks for 15 minutes, and then takes 15 minutes of questions from Bard Center graduate students. The seminar attracts a national audience, including several classrooms dialing in.

Your participation would require just 30 minutes of your time, and can be from anywhere on the planet– all you need is a telephone. It is a great opportunity to speak to a broad-based, grassroots, audience. The spring schedule is the first and third Wednesdays of each month at noon Eastern Time. Would you be available to join the call on January 19th?

I direct The Bard Center for Environmental Policy, at Bard College in New York State. I am writing to invite you to be a guest speaker on The National Climate Seminar, a twice-monthly phone call with top climate scientists and policy analysts. http://www.bard.edu/cep/ncs.

Speakers last year include Dr. Stephen Schneider, Dallas Burtraw from Resources for the Future, Dr. Mohan Monasinghe from the IPCC, and Bill McKibben. We would appreciate your thoughts on your book, and the direction for US policy.

Each speaker talks for 15 minutes, and then takes 15 minutes of questions from my graduate students. There are between 50 and 150 participants nationwide. We advertise to our list of 10,000.

This requires just 30 minutes of your time, dialing in. It is a great opportunity to speak to a broad-based, grassroots, audience.
